I am hoping to create an Executive users page that will embed the Project Summary timelines of many individual project sites.
Example Situation: I have a top level page called Customers that is used by Executives and Project Managers. Sub-sites on that page link to additional pages that by design should be for each my companies customers. So I have customer sub-sites for Alpha, Beta and Charlie. Each customer page then has sub-sites of Projects for that customer which in turn contains the Tasks Web application. The Tasks Web app provides a Project Summary which displays a Timeline and other elements such as the Tasks list which is used to manage the projects. Alpha has projects going on in San Diego, Carlsbad and La Jolla. What I am hoping to accomplish is grabbing the Project Summary timeline (and only the timeline) for each city and have it embedded on the top level Customers page with the idea that Executives could look at that page and get a quick overview of Work In Progress for all customers with active projects.
I am very new to SharePoint Online and Office365. Politely requesting response with enough detail to help someone new to these products is greatly appreciated.
In SharePoint Online, you can Edit the page and use the Embed (similar to Page Viewer) web part to display another web page. The page displays slowly as it draws the frame and may include the top bar if you’re using another SharePoint site.

How far have you got with this so far? e.g Do you know how to add a web part to a page?
