Got a question, noted that Popularity is based on Likes on “replies to a post” on the Discussion Board (as seen below)
How can i remove the likes on the original post then? Doesnt seem to have any use on the original post
PS: Not sure but just asking, if there is a way to limit 1 reply to 1 post?

Internally discussion board uses two lists: one to store the posts & other to store the replies. What yo could try is to switch off the likes/rating option in the posts list ie the list that you have created & just have it enabled in the replies list.
The name of the replies list is generated by the SharePoint & you may not see that in the site contents. You can find it using SharePoint designer.
