Unable to edit Title, Description & Logo in Sharepoint

I’ve created a SharePoint Online site to trial running, and I’m currently trying to edit the logo and add a description to the site however it doesn’t show up in Site Settings under “Look and Feel”? I looked up the issue on the Microsoft website and they said you won’t be able to see it if you’re not in the Owner or Design category. As the only user and also creator of the site, surely I am in this permission category? Or am I simply looking in the wrong place as it’s been updated and not amended on the Microsoft website?
