we want to upload a lot of files in certain Teams. To avoid that members don\’t find certain files and upload them a second time at another position, we would like to use file links within our Teams file structure. Due to the big number of files, the links to the Teams conversation is not a proper solution. So far the only opportunity we found is creating links in the concerning folder structure in Sharepoint. But this is confusing the team members, especially because you can\’t open the links directly in Microsoft Teams. You can just download the files through the links or open them in sharepoint. Is there any opportunity to create file links in Teams within the file area, which you can also open in Teams?

You can create file links when you select “Open in SharePoint” option.
It creates a .url file but it takes a couple clicks just to open the file since the user needs to download it locally. Not pretty.
