Hi Guys
So I have a question re – sharepoint calendar lists
I have created a calendar and it includes recurring events. Obviously Sharepoint stores recurring events as a single list item unless occurrences have been edited individually. This is particularly frustrating considering I have related tables and apps which I would like to link to the data here. Obviously I can create a view which shows all of the recurrences individually but can I make the table itself treat them as individuals with their own unique ID? Or is there a workaround like and infopath form which creates separate items or something like that?
Secondly, with the recurring events, I note that when you edit an individual occurence, it removes that event from the series, giving it it’s own ID (a handy workaround for the problem above). However, if I then go to edit the series, all the supposedly separated recurrences are automatically deleted. This has tremendous implications for the data integrity of your list. Is there a way to prevent this?
Thanks in advance
