I am currently attempting to make a custom form on a list in SharePoint Online. I have confirmed that in the Site Features and Site Collection Features that SharePoint Server Publishing is activated. However, when I open InfoPath Designer 2013 and attempt to create a new form tied to a SharePoint List, when I put in the location of the SharePoint site I get the following error.
"This feature requires SharePoint Server 2010 or greater with InfoPath Forms Services enabled."
Does InfoPath not work with SharePoint Online or is there something I am missing?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I think you want to go to top level site features and make sure SharePoint Server Enterprise features are enabled. If that doesn’t work or it is already enabled at the collection/site level, can you let us know how you are specifically attempting to tie in the list?
Can you please specify what changes were made on Central Administration to make it work? I am also having issues with InfoPath not working with sharepoint online. FYI: Enterprise features have been activated at site collection level and site level. But still no luck.
Hey Scott, thanks for the info. I was checking that before and the features were enabled but I was still having issues. It looks like it was a change in the Central Administration that needed to occur. Out IT department was able to figure it out and get it going for us today.
