Recently we have started using Sharepoint Teamsites (Office 365) as an online platform for managing our building projects. Currently we use OneNote (notes either made while at the building site or when talking to contractors/clients) and Planner (tasks to alter plans etc).
We also use OneDrive, where for each teamsite we upload the current version of building plans.
I would like to know if there is a feature with which we could link a submap of our project folder (network drive) to a document library of a sharepoint teamsite?
For instance. Network-drive = S:\project\A1066_Appartments\Plans\… -> link to Office 365 Sharepoint teamsite -> A1066_Appartments / Document-Library / Plans
Whenever a new document is created on the network drive it would then synch to the Teamsite. Whenever a document is created online in the Teamsite it will be synched to the network folder.
It’s probably a long shot, as firewall issues will have to be dealt with. 😉
greetz…

In the OneDrive navigation pane, under OneDrive, click Shared. Folders you can add to your OneDrive are marked Can edit.
Find the folder you want to add, and click the circle in the folder’s tile to select it.
Click Add to my OneDrive. Or, if you prefer, you can right-click the folder and then click Add to my OneDrive.
Find shared folders in your OneDrive
Select the OneDrive cloud icon.
Select More > Settings.
On the Account tab, select Choose folders, then check the boxes of the folders you want to sync.
Thanks for the reply.
Synching between the folders on my workstation and OneDrive for business (teamsites) is being used for a while already.
What I am looking for is a sync between a (mapped) network drive and the OneDrive for business for a specific Teamsite.
