Hi All, I have a problem with SP calendar alerts. If a reoccurring event is changed through outlook alerts on past changes made are sent. Some events are changed frequently (time adjusted to suit production needs) and with every change more emails are sent (Every change triggers emails being sent on all past changes – right now we are already by 10 emails for a change…) Anybody knows how to fix it? Please…

The only way to do this would be by creating a filtered alert. Essentially you create a filtered view to only capture events that fit certain criteria, then you create an alert on that filtered view. By default, alert will trigger any type of change – that’s why you are getting all these emails.
