Hi Expert,

I setup on-premise SharePoint 2013 server and SQL Server 2014.

I just want accomplish: once the user enter their employee number from the form in SharePoint, it will show the Name, Department, etc. the data will retrieve from SQL Server.

What i have done: (Im not sure if this is the correct way)

I installed the Data Connection App from SharePoint. Also,i created a Custom List and customized it using InfoPath 2013. Then, i add Data Connection to retrieve data from SQL Server and convert it to udcx that is pointed to SharePoint site. then published it.

Now when i tried to used the form, it gives me an error “You do not have permissions to access a database that contains data required for this form to function correctly”

i tried the many suggestions from other forum but with no luck.

Im just thinking might be there is another way to complete my task.
