I am somewhat new to the SharePoint development side of things, and I’m hoping to get guidance on how we might integrate a solution housed on a different site into our SharePoint environment. I’m not sure if I am using the best description of what we are trying to do, but I will try to make it simple. Please note that I Have minimal coding experience, and have primarily worked through SharePoint site development with the UI tools and designer. I do understand that this solution may require a much higher level of expertise, if there is a solution to be had.
1. We’ve created and hosted a webapp on ArcGIS.com.
2. We want to show this webapp inside our SharePoint site.
3. It’s an interactive web map, for which we can gain export the design and code files.
4. On the ArcGIS side, it requires a password to enter (this is what we want to get around).
5. We want to display and use functionality within the SharePoint site.
I’ve looked at the solutions offered to integrate with SP, but they are not exactly what we are looking for. Any thoughts or help on direction would be greatly appreciated! I do have an experienced tech dev person, it’s just that he doesn’t have experience with SharePoint.
