Yesterday our O365/SharePoint Online was pushed a preview for the new look of document libraries – the look seems to be very similar to the new look of OneDrive for Business library.
Does anyone know if top-level navigation will be kept with this new library look? When previewing the new look our top-level nav bar disappears.
Does anyone know if library settings on the libraries will be retained when they move to the new look, particularly the setting to open files in the client? All of our libraries are set to open files in the client, yet when previewing the new look all are default opening in the online app.
I’m not seeing any discussion of this in Microsoft’s SharePoint blog.
