I have a user with a large number of files on an IIS server that has been using “Doc #” for the Name. Is it possible to change the “Name” to “Doc #” without killing the Document Type on SharePoint.
I would like “Doc #” to have the same functionality as Name and be linked to the File.
This may be a case where you can’t get there from here.
