Hello,
I am relatively new to sharepoint, so this might be a question that has a very simple answer, but I have not been able to find an answer to it yet.
I would like to display the content of the last blog post of a specific blog on the home page of the site collection. I have come across several articles that tell you how to create a list of the latest blog posts, but that is not what I am looking for. If anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful.
Some background: I have recently started a the ICT Manager (sounds bigger that it is, I am the only IT person here) of small charity and have been handed the task of building an intranet for the charity using Sharepoint. However I had not used Sharepoint before. My predecessor had started this a little, but it needed really building from scratch. We are using sharepoint as part of Office365. Hence my potentially simple question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kees
Hello, Aniket,
Thank you for your reply. I could not get the content search webpart to work, but your reply put me on route to something that did work. I ended up using a list view web part and pointed that at the newest entry of the Posts list of blog.
Many thanks,
Kees
Hi Kees,
You can use the Content search webpart based on your requirements. It is available on office 365 based on your Plan.
This is the link you can start to develop your webpart.

You can also use the content query webpart if its in the same site collection.
