New to SharePoint, moved over from Domino. I apologize in advance if my terminology is incorrect. I’ve modified a view in an issue tracking database to include a multi line field. The problem is that the data in that field can get quite lengthy so when it wraps in the column, you are only able to see a few items per page. I’ve done some searching and found a suggestion of using some jquery in a webpart and that would “collapse” the text and make it expandable. I think that I’ve followed directions to the tee but still can’t get it to work. A ticket with Microsoft ends up with them claiming it can’t be done. Has anyone done anything like this or ran into this problem? We are cloud based only and I’m just learning the design aspect of everything. Attaching an image for visual help.
