I am new to SharePoint. Our agency just switched from version 2.0 to 3.0 and building the new website was dropped into my lap. I have figured out quite a bit of the processes, but I can’t find an answer to one of my issues. Is there a way to increase the number of announcements that can be viewed? The website is set up as a read only site to make available announcements, events and training to emergency first responders.
You just need to adjust the view settings on your announcements web part. There should be a section item limit and pages. This controls how many items are displayed.
Possibly means Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0 (WSS was Foundation’s predecessor.) 2.0 corresponds to SP 2003 and 3.0 corresponds to SP 2007.
