Good Day,
I’m having issues with the suite bar in Sharepoint 2013. I’ve googled to my hearts content, and although there are a few solutions, none have worked for me thus far.
Regardless of which link I choose (Newsfeed, OneDrive, or Sites), I am prompted with a page cannot be displayed error. Personally I’m not overly concerned that users have access to these at this point, however, I also noticed that the “About Me” is also a no go and possibly related.
Hopefully I haven’t confued everyone, and your still with me 🙂
On a side note, I did set up a mysite sie collection and followed instructions from Microsoft to enable, but am still facing the same issue.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Bryan
Thanks Sean … will do. Â I’ve been out of the office for a few days, but will definitely check it out tomorrow.
Also check the permissions on the MySite database using SQL Server Management Studio. Make sure the farm and webapp accounts have permissions.  We had the same problem and this fixed it.
Thanks Glenn … much appreciated. Â I’ll take a look and hopefully find my issue.
Hi Glenn,
The User Profile Service shows as started, and when navigating to the server I don’t see a tool called ULSViewer. Â My apologies for the noobie question, but this is my first whirl with SP2013.
Thanks Glenn.
