I’m sure many of you have used content search web parts to display sites while returning the site logo for the picture on the left. This is a nice way to display the most used project / collaboration sites in use. What I am trying to work out is how to modify the size of the picture that is displayed in the search results. Anyone have any ideas?
I am sure there are a number of different ways to do this. I just tried copying Item_Picture3lines.html, modifying it to display the site logos smaller, and then uploading under a new name. I’ve had no luck though… Cant find what to adjust in the item display template.
Or maybe using jslink is a better idea but I can’t find any examples out there to work from.
I was thinking way too hard on this by making a custom display template for this. You can just modify the image rendition settings under Site Settings > Look and Feel – Image Renditions. Of course this wont work for all scenerios but for me this works fine.
