We have dozens of reports that are generated daily on SP 2013. Currently we do subscriptions for end users so they get their reports everyday. Ideally, the end users would set up their own subscriptions or alerts. This isn’t the case where I work. Here’s what I’d like to try.
I need for each report to only have one email address that gets a link to the report. Can I set it up so that email address is to a list? That list will contain people picker for multiple people. Instead of their individual name, it will contain their title from AD. I will then create a workflow to email all the titles in that list when ever a change is made. This way I don’t have to change subscriptions whenever somebody gets a new title.
Sorry Robin. I ended up not needing to do what I thought I needed to do. There’s really nothing for show and tell. I just didn’t ask the right person before I posted my discussion.
