I missed Fabian’s fantastic SPChat tonight but wanted to ask this :
In a time where Microsoft are becoming more “open” to other services and vendors (e.g. IOS and Android), do you think we will see a situation where SharePoint on-premise will be intermingled with a series of Cloud Services from non-MS providers (and I don’t mean partners). E.g WordPress for CMS, Google for Search and Maps?. Can and will this happen? Could we hook a Google search box to crawl our local Farm? I think this would be a nice place to be 😉
