Hello
I did a migration of the Search Service Admin DB to my SP2013. Now suddenly I have two default content-sources, one form the old-environment, and one for the new.
I read that it is not possible to delete a default content-soruce, and i tried remove-spenterprise….. on my content-source and I could not delete it.
So, what can I do from here? I do not if it is a issue, i have “disabled” crawls on the old content-source, but still, if I could remove it all, it would be awesome.
Thanks

Yes it was a migration from 2010 to 2013. But, in the end, i created a whole new Search Application from scratch. Think that there was no need to migrate the Admin DB, just did new setup and a new full crawl.
Just be clear: a migration from SP2013 to SP2013 or an upgrade from SP2010 to SP2013? If the latter, what steps did you take? Did you use the steps as mentioned on TechNet: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj839719(v=office.15).aspx#UpgradeSearch ?
I do stop the crawl first, it is in a idle-state. But it is one of the default content-sources, so it is difficult.Â
The error in PowerShell when i try to remove it is: Modifying a read-only content source is not allowed
Are you trying to remove while crawling? How about stopping the Search Crawl and give a try?
