Is there a way to Edit the ‘Modified’ date value of items in a document library?

I’ve had this on the back burner for the past week while I dealt with something more pressing.

Some changes had to be made to some documents following a migration from an on prem 2003 site to our new Sharepoint online site. i’d like to be able to revert the ‘modified date’ value of the updated documents back to the old value. Is there a way to edit these values in Sharepoint online?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
