have had some feedback from users that the sharepoint email alerts (see below) are not very user friendly…
is it possible to change the look and content of these emails to make them more user friendly?

thanks… i was hoping this could be done from a standard menu on the sharepoint gui..
seems to me end user experience is key to being motivated to use sharepoint/success of sharepoint – and how the email alerts look/feel/present critical information is a key impact factor in the overall feeling/impression of sharepoint
– has noone in the sharepoint development team thought of making it easier to customise what info gets emailed and how it looks when it’s received?
