Is there a bulk importer tool that can import both documents and metadata in 2010 version OOTB?
What are the alternative options?

We wrote (one of our client) a custom powershell  and C# code to export (from 2007 to the local folder with all the metadata) and import (to 2010)  the documents with the metadata with all the version history. We couldn’t able to find any tool for our requirement / scenarios because we have to import all the history with the meta data like (Create / last modified date, user info) etc.
It would be good if we find one…

Sharegate Lite does content import to SharePoint 2010 with Metadata. But I don’t think there is any solution OOTB that will keep Metadata. You could always check out codeplex as well.
