My client is currently performing a feasibility study on automated regression testing of a number of Microsoft SharePoint apps including an intranet app and an externally facing web app.
I have previously seen Selenium 2 used for this purpose but wasn’t involved in the setup/configuration.
I’m really looking for more information that I can take to my client to show that persuing this over say Visual Studio Coded UI tests is the right way to go but I can’t find a great deal of documented evidence to back me up.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this the best option for SharePoint automated testing?
