We are about to reach 2,700 members and the activity is certainly on the increase. I can see that many more members are making friends with each other and many more are getting involved in the on-line chat, discussions and now also starting to blog.
We also have a fantastic army of SharePoint Community Reps that are helping manage the site on a daily basis. (Can’t thank them enough!)
We also have some really cool things to announce over the next few weeks as well as an amazing prize to win this week.
However, I am sure more can be done! This is your chance to tell us what else you would like to see on here ? What more can we do ? Do you want to contribute in some way ?
Update : We are now at 2700 members and I was wondering if you had any further ideas ?
Mark,
One thing that would make the chat experience a tad bit more satisfying, would be to have a timestamp beside the prompt. Â Don’t know the technical ins and outs–even if it’s possible for the software. Also the timestamps are not coming through on all entries. Â It doesn’t really matter whose timezone we’re looking at–but if we could gage an active discussion. Â This would avoid two issues–butting in to an active problem-solving session and entering a conversation that has long since died.
Or  not–It’s still a great chat.
Stephan
Thx Mark, that’s sounds great! If I can help, let me know.
Thomy – watch this space on that! We are actually planning something very big and bold. Hope to have it announced really soon.
Or do an online bar camp. Make an call for presentations, let’s vote the top content and build an online conference/user group style meeting where the top voted present and the others listen. if the response is huge, split and make two events.
Stream a live user group type presentation to the community and allow people to get involved either in person if they can geographically or virtually otherwise.
