Create a Promoted Link Tile to a New Event Dialogue for a Calendar

Hello all,

I’d like to create a link tile in Promoted Links App that if clicked will open the New Event Dialogue for a specific calendar and allow for the event entry, but I cannot locate what the link for the New Event Dialogue is. Is this even possible?

By New Event, you mean an Event Content Type for say a Calendar? First find the location of your Calendar. For example in my site, the calendar is called “calendar”. So i could create a promoted link with this url.

https://yoursharepointsite.com/Lists/Calendar/NewForm.aspx

All out of the box new forms are named NewForm.aspx
