Hello,
I am embedding a video from Office 365 Video to SharePoint 2013. Is it possible to play the video from Office 365 without having to login to Office 365? We have external users that access our on-premises SharePoint, but do not have an Office 365 license.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Joe
You might be able to click “Share” and un-select “require sign in”?
I think he meant when you are sharing the site in SharePoint. As far as I know, you need credentials to use O365 video. I think Stream may be in the same boat. I know they are working on it as of about a year ago.
Thanks all. I am not seeing the “require sign-in” option either. At this point, I am not thinking this is possible. Ideally, the end user would authenticate to SharePoint and then be able to view an embedded Office 365 video anonymously.
You are correct. It is currently not possible, but they are working on putting that functionality into Stream, which will be converging with Office365 video in the future.
Where is the “Require Sign In” checkbox on the Share dialog? Do you mean from Office 365 Video?
