In simple terms i can only say that you can carry your Office anywhere with Office365 ! The only thing that you need to do is log with into your Office account and everything is here ready for you. It is a business productivity tool used by many small/mid sized organisations. You get SharePoint Online on Office 365, Skype for business, OneDrive, Groups for O365 and much more.
