Hi all – hope you had a good week, i have 2 issues which, darnest, i cannot resolve
- I am trying to have Multiple Categories appear on Discussion Board on the default “Subject” View
I cannot seem to do this (it seems to allow only one) – like below pic. Hoping to add more affiliations and also a filter like the below
Is it possible to add a “tag” or add/show more categories?
2. Is is possible to add a Search box or something? only searching key words within the discussion in the below – trying to do up a FAQ – can a web part solved this? The Search box in web parts does not seem to search within Discussion board only

You cannot add new category to the subject view of discussion board OOTB. You may create a custom view if required.Â
For the search, you could add a filter webpart and connect the output to the discussion board webpart to filter the details based on the discussion title.
