I have a SharePoint site connected to a Microsoft Team; let’s call that Team “AR Team”. So, due to this, my SharePoint site Members group “AR Team Members” only contains the Teams group, “AR Team Members”. When this happens, and I point a “Person or Group” column to choose from “SharePoint Group:” “AR Team Members“, it won’t work. It seems that it cannot resolve the nested group and show the names of the actual members from the Teams “AR Team Members” group. So I have to add each member, one by one, to the SharePoint site Members group. This completely defeats the purpose of the Team.
How do I get around this?
If you are logged into your Office 365 Account, Teams will find the SharePoint sites associated with your organization’s SharePoint Site. Or, you can paste in the link to your company’s SharePoint directly. Select the site you want and choose Next. Then, choose which document library you’d like to connect to.
I have a similar question as it relates to SharePoint Hub sites. Is there any way to populate the People web part on a page to Active Directory based on the name of the page matching the person’s location in AD?
