Any quick ideas on this before I call Microsoft?
A farm with 2 WFE’s each running about 7 SP sites.
one of the sites on WFE #2 stopped working.
Tried the usual iisreset, then reboot. No luck
I know that sometimes people mess up the default landing page, so I tried
https://url/_layouts/settings.aspx and that returns “An unexpected error has occured”
I’m not finding anything telling in the IIS, ULS, or event logs.

Few questions :
- Is the broken WFE broke on all sites, or just a few ?
- Are the web.configs and IIS settings still the same on both WFE’s or have they been changed ?
- Are there any Solution Packages stuck deploying ?
- Are all the services (timer and admin) running on the machines ?
- Does the ULS log say anything on the broken server ?
