Hello guys ,
Please i need help on how to go about approving or rejecting an info-path form from a users outlook without them having to open the form.
Thank You all so much in advance
Jay,
This is something I’ve not done, but I’ll see if I can find some information for you.
Hi Robin ,
We are trying to reduce the number of clicks to just one as against two or three …straight from the form ,i know this can be easily achieved with 3rd party solutions such as K2 or Nintex , but we are looking for a no code or little code solution
im using info-path 2013 and outlook 2013 though.
Any Help will be greatly appreciated ,
Thanks
Hi Jay,
Is there a reason for you not wanting them to have to open the form? Also, what version of Infopath and Outlook are you using?
We don’t do approval in Outlook, but we do have the approval fields actually in the form and all the forms are browser-based. The user clicks the link in the email notification to the form, clicks the approve or reject radio button in the form and the button in the ribbon. 3 clicks and they are done. The form automatically adds the approver’s username and the date/timestamp of the approval rejection (these are fields in the form that are set via rules in InfoPath).
