Hi Guys,
I just wanted to ask if there are other people having this same issue. A few months ago we started using theme’s and composed looks creating theme’s with the “SharePoint Color Palette tool”.
After Microsoft did some updates on the suitebar like adding “o365” classes on almost every single element causing custom styling to fail and we couldn’t overwrite the styling… yes they used !important in their new stylesheets… We decided to only use the OOTB theme’s for colors like suite bar and other default elements like the promoted link tiles.
With the advent of Outlook, OneDrive and Delve the demand for a company wide theme option grew. So Microsoft introduced the Company Profile Custom Theming that is now accessible via Central Admin (/CompanyManagement/CompanyProfile.aspx).
At this moment we have a fairly big ‘bug’ while applying a site theme (e.g. Grey) on a site breaks the company theming. As you can see the compant logo is missing and the accent color is gone.
You guys have this same issue/bug?
Thanks in advance!

The option seems to be added:

Hi, unfortunately Microsoft answered only the palette001.spcolor (default blue) is showing the Company Theme Icon. To use Microsoft words: “This is by design”. So this really sucks and I think it’s just a change by some developer rather than a thought-out change. Let’s hope this change will be applied on all themes later on.
Hi,
I’m facing same challenge when branding SharePoint Online in O365. Have you been able to find the workaround to keep tenant suite bar setting when changing theme?
