What I have is a List Site and a Document Site with Content types. I need the Document Site to behave like a list site when a new item is created and a document type to be selectable.
When I click add new Item on a List site it opens the List Items to enter data. When you have a Document Site and Click Add New it opens the Document and Document Panel for the list items. I would like to just enter List Items without having to open the document.

Here is a picture of what the Document Site does. If it could open as a list and there be a dropdown to choose the Document content type that would be amazing!
