I had always heard that the SharePoint Enterprise version was required to support SSRS for SharePoint. In looking at Version Comparisons, this seems not to be the case.
Can anyone verify that they are running SSRS from a Standard Version of SharePoint On-Premises?
Also, what would it take to start running SSRS on a Standard System on which it is not currently setup?
Was just confirmed by John Patrick White (on Facebook) to.
I’ve only ever run it in Enterprise, but I believe you are correct. Standard should do it too. Though I’d wager you lose some functionality.  I’m guessing you were looking at this technet article? https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg492257.aspx
As for setting it up, here’s another technet article that should help you on your way:Â https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/25255.sharepoint-2013-how-to-set-up-configure-and-test-sql-2012-sp1-ssrs-with-sharepoint-2013-sp1.aspx
I usually like setting up the entire BI stack, not just SSRS, but again, I’ve only done it in Enterprise.
