Has anyone had this issue in SharePoint 2013 designer where you click on the library and list and you receive “there are no items to show in this view”? It’s almost like a permission issue, but this has worked before. Thanks

Are you online or on prem? I am on prem and have seen that when accessing SPD from my desktop. When that happens, I log onto the SP server and open designer there and I can then see everything.

It seems like one of your list/list definition is broken or did you make some changes in any of the lists. If you did then please go through this link. Go to All Site Content in SPD and try to browse your lists in browser to check they are working fine or not.
