I created a template in SharePoint 2010. I can see the template in the Solutions Gallery, but I can’t see it in “More Options”. Interestingly in only one of my subsites this template appears in More Options, but not on the home page and not in the other subsites.
I created this template from the home page of our intranet. Any idea why this behaviour?

Thank you Jorge, good idea, unfortunately I tried all the languages but this did not help.

I work with site collections with multiple languages.
If you created the template in one language this template will only appear in this language options.
Try to select different languages in “More options” form.
