I created a template in SharePoint 2010. I can see the template in the Solutions Gallery, but I can’t see it in “More Options”. Interestingly in only one of my subsites this template appears in More Options, but not on the home page and not in the other subsites.
I created this template from the home page of our intranet. Any idea why this behaviour?
Thanks!
– Thom
I currently use a custom site template for our custom site provisioning process. This site template changes often requiring me to re-save in the solutions gallery at the SPSite level, which has the “PublishingSite” feature enable across the entire site collection. So, this may not be the issue.
I don’t believe use of site templates with publishing features active is supported in sharepoint 2010.

Thanks Jason, yes I did check all those, not there.
I am working in Germany so must leave the office now, thanks in advance for any insights! I will check in tomorrow.
Hi Dave –
SharePoint Server Publishing
is active.
I am an “Owner” with full control but is there a higher permission level?
