I was wondering if anyone has created something to track resources in their company for projects in SharePoint 2010. I’ve tried to “Google” but I keep getting ways to capacity resource plan for a SharePoint 2013 upgrade which isn’t what I need (at this time).

Resource planning. We need to see who is schedule on which project for what length of period. We currently have no insight into that.
Either one: off the shelf or a solution built on top of SharePoint. Not sure at this moment what the funding is for this, but I think if I can give an overall picture of what’s available, it will help us to determine which way to go.
