I was wondering if anyone has created something to track resources in their company for projects in SharePoint 2010. I’ve tried to “Google” but I keep getting ways to capacity resource plan for a SharePoint 2013 upgrade which isn’t what I need (at this time).

Some questions to possibly arm yourself with are:
- What metadata or information do we want to track for the each individual resource?
- How will we manage the resources list to be tracked? Hopefully AD or User Profile already has a bulk of the information you want to track.
- How granular and linear do we want to data to be.
- How are you currently managing the projects? Will that/can that process change to better track both the project and resources assigned?
