Do you think implementing a SharePoint / Cloud “Hybrid” is just plain hassle? Are the cost savings for having part of your infrastructure in the Cloud and part on-premise really worth it? Why not one go for all Cloud or just stay with the traditional on-site data center? What are the main drivers for “hybrid”, especially when it comes to SharePoint 😉

Wow – great reply Larry and thanks for taking the time. I missed Fabians SPChat last night, but the subject got me thinking. What kind of Hybrid set-ups are out there, which pieces get carved up. Ones that come to mind are :
- Social Networking (Yammer)
- Email (Exchange)
- CRM (Dynamics / SalesForce)
