I have a document library with a custom content type. This content type has a number of fields, some of which are single line of text (i.e Title).
I can populate this data either manually through each item, or using the libraries quick edit function.
However, when I then go back into the Edit Properties of the item, and save it, the title gets wiped out. The columns there were from selection options are retained, just the title is wiped.
It’s baffling me.Â

Did you check if there is any validation applied on that column and your content is not matching the validation?
