I got confused how should I design SP site structure.
I think about two options :
1. option:
mycompany.sharepoint.com/default.aspx <— can use this root page for the managements documents mycompany.sharepoint.com/product_development
2. option:
mycompany.sharepoint.com/default.aspx <— can use this root page for all users as main intranet gateway with companies branding
mycompany.sharepoint.com/management <— can use this page for the managements documents
company.sharepoint.com/product development
What option is more reasonable permission wise?

Hi, if company uses SharePoint mostly for storing documents.
I want to use mycompany.sharepoint.com/default.aspx ROOT page for the management document libraries with very strict permissions on them.
Can I use ROOT (/default.aspx ) page for managements document libraries? Does that make sense?
