 Does anybody know of (have experience working with) any correspondence management system built on sharepoint?
I need a (kind of) Ad-hoc correspondence system for my company. Basically these are general correspondence between departments but they need to be tracked and archived.
We’ve create a simple custom list which performs pretty much exactly this function.
It has some custom fields, some of which when entered send an email to the appropriate person.
Thus allows attaching files, tracking of documents and provides a fully transparent system to all secretaries (and anyone else who cares), where documents are in the company.
