Because of a performance issue, I have had to disable Security Trimming for my Site Collection in SharePoint Online. Does anybody know what else this may affect? For example, will it affect the Search functionality? Meaning will search results REMAIN security trimmed or will they now show all results and when a user clicks on the link, they get the access denied screen?

I went into the Site Settings / Site Collection Administrators / Site Collection Navigation / and unchecked Enable Security Trimming. I’m pretty sure it only affects Navigation (as that is the setting I went into). But I thought I would put the question out there just to see if anybody knew if it affects anything else.
