Hi I recently made some changes to out SharePoint site custom master page to suit my company requirements. After this I installed Simplified Chinese language pack to suits the need of my Chinese client. However, I found out that when I changed from default English language to Simplified Chinese language the master page returned to the old look and did not follow my changes.
Is there any reason for this behaviour? Hope anyone can clear my problem here. Thanks.
Actually the page pyhsical orientation is changed such as the tree view width which i have changed changed to default when i changed the language…
Are you using Variations for this ? As variations creates a separate site for each language and you may need to re-apply the master page ? Can you upload a screenshot of before and after ?
