In the current Farm we have 2 web apps
1. Collaboration
2. Record Centre
When you send a document to a content organizer ( drop of library ) to the Record centre site using the send to connection , it does loose it version history but also the audit trail .
According to MS article it should preserve the audit history if we have specified the correct settings in content organizer rules. Audit is enabled on all the site collections.
Can some suggest if any other settings is missing or it will only work if Send to destination is in the same Content DB
