Has anyone been successful in using a slide library that was created in SharePoint 2010 continue to work after migrating to SharePoint 2013? We currently use SharePoint 2010 and want to use the slide library feature but don’t want to take a chance on it breaking in 6mths to a year from now when we migrate.
The slide library “technically” still exists in 2013 and even 2016 but it is no loner supported. If you migrate you can continue to use the feature but as part of the planning I would recommend looking at an alternative solution. I have worked with this on 2013 and I found it to be buggy at times.
