I`m trying to enable Breadcrumbs in SharePoint 2013 based environment.
Found an article, that suggest it should be simple by modifying the values in settle.master

We had the same problem so decided to come up with a solution.
Check out for free FlyView for SharePoint. A free Chrome plug-in. Simply add it to your Chrome and go to your sharePoint site, it works. Versions for all the other web browsers are also available.Â
