In our development environment, we keep seeing an odd error when we try to modify an library view or delete an item from a list or library.
What makes it even stranger is that if I go back in the browser navigation and then refresh the page, the deletion or modification has been done.
Has anyone seen this before? and if so, how do we correct it?

Hi Robin,
Yes, minimal download strategy has some drawbacks. One of them being failed RPC call to owssvr causing the error. You can disable it from site features.
Site settings > Manage site features, and de-activate the Minimal Download Strategy feature.

It appears from what I’ve been able to read that this is probably related to Minimal Download Strategy being turned on. Â Once I figure out how to turn it off, I will post back what I did and the results.
If any can provide me with instructions on how to do this, step-by-step (assuming i know nothing), it would be greatly appreciated
